Just Natural Organic Spelt Grain 500g

Organic Spelt Grain is an ancient wheat variety with a nutty, slightly sweet flavour and a firm, chewy bite once cooked, valued by some as easier to digest than modern wheat despite still containing gluten. Cook it whole as a wholegrain side dish, similar to farro, or cooled into hearty grain salads with roasted vegetables and a sharp dressing. It can also be sprouted or milled at home for baking where a more traditional, heritage-grain flavour is wanted. As a form of wheat, it isn't suitable for a gluten-free diet. Certified organic and vegan, with no added sugar. Simmer in plenty of water for around 45-60 minutes until tender, or soak overnight to shorten the cooking time. Store in an airtight container in a cool, dry place.
